The Yorkhill Easter Egg Motorbike Run has been a tradition in Glasgow for over ten years, and to many bikers, is the unofficial start of the biking season. Thousands of motorbikes gather every Easter Sunday to take part in a huge procession through the city centre and west end of Glasgow, culminating at Yorkhill Hospital, where they drop off Easter Eggs and donations for the sick children.
Due to safety reasons, the run did not go ahead in 2009 but it's back for 2010 - on Easter Sunday, 4th April 2010! Riders of motorbikes and scooters are invited to take part, with the route beginning at South Street at BAE Systems and the run kicking off at 11am (10am gathering time)...
Bikers are urged to consider donating the money they would ordinarily spend on Easter Eggs to Yorkhill Children's Foundation - this will enable us to continue our work supporting Yorkhill Hospital.
An donation page has been set up on Justgiving for those who wish to donate online - please click here.
