Please join us to celebrate our 10th Anniversary at the Yorkhill Birthday Ball on Friday 16 March 2012 in the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow

Yorkhill Children’s Foundation is ten years old, and to celebrate our tenth anniversary, we are hosting our first ever Yorkhill Ball on Friday 16th March 2012 – and you are invited! This will be the birthday party of the year, held in the fabulous Grand Ballroom of the newly refurbished Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. Sparkling reception from 7pm.

As well as being a formal black tie dinner, this year The Yorkhill Ball will be themed in the style of a classic children’s birthday party, and will include all the party games you will remember like Pass The Parcel and Musical Statues. There will even be a midnight feast when the clocks strike twelve! No Ball would be complete without dancing, so the nine-piece soul band, Big Vern 'n' the Shootahs will be there to get you out your seats and onto the dancefloor. We also have an auction with a wealth of fantastic money-can’t-buy prizes, an amazing prize draw and plenty more and, at the end of the evening, you will go away with your very own party bag!  

Please join us on Friday 16 March and help us to raise funds for Yorkhill Children’s Foundation, the charity which helps Scotland’s sick children to get better. Every year, Yorkhill Children’s Foundation grants hundreds of thousands of pounds to fund projects which give children at Yorkhill Hospital and related facilities the very best care that they can receive. From scanners to incubators, from toys to school equipment, from Clowndoctors to MediCinema, each of our projects makes a vital difference to the treatment and recovery of Scotland’s children in hospital.
