Everest Base Camp
26 March - 13 April 2011

Duration: 19 days 
Grade: Extreme

Nepal is a country in a league of its own with breathtakingly beautiful scenery, a fascinating culture and friendly people.  Meeting the villagers whilst trekking through this locked gem of a nation is one of its greatest pleasures.  

The route will take you via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar through beautiful valleys, dense forests and across glacial rivers before you reach the renowned viewpoint of Kalapatar, on the approach to Everest Base Camp, and see the highest mountain on the planet!  There is also time built in to trek to Base Camp itself.  

This is an extreme challenge, and will require a good level of fitness.  All participants will be provided with training guide. 

Coast to Coast Rainforest Trek in Costa Rica 
12 February - 23 February 2011 

Duration: 12 days 
Grade: Tough 

Costa Rica has a huge variety of landscapes, climates and environments.  Everything from palm- tree lined tropical beaches to smoking volcanoes, cloud forest, rainforest and mangrove swamp awaits you in Costa Rica.  The coast to coast challenge will involve travelling from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast on foot and raft.  The route will take you through coffee plantations and oak forests deep into cloud forest and dense tropical rainforest.  

This is a challenging trip through remote and rarely visited regions.  The terrain is tough with some hard climbs but the rewards are immense.
